This project aims to strengthen communities to demand the change they need, to identify, assess and fully understand their needs and to hold government officials accountable.
The development of activist toolkit aims to equip residents of Tbilisi with the tools and strategies to win real change in their communities. Through top-down (i.e. analysis and reader-friendly, visual presentation of the laws and regulations governing Tbilisi municipality and bottom up approaches (i.e. community workshops) the project will build the bridge between the local government and the communities they serve. A contest for three best urban initiatives will be announced with the winners implementing their ideas together with volunteers and IP team.
